Vinga lighthouse is located at the outermost edge of Gothenburg's southern archipelago and is one of Sweden's most iconic lighthouses. Since the late 1800s, it has safely guided shipping into Gothenburg harbor and has become a strong symbol of the west coast, the sea, and maritime life. Vinga is also closely associated with the troubadour Evert Taube, who spent parts of his childhood here.
